Walloon Export and Foreign Investment Agency (OFI-AWEX) - INVESTMENT

The office for foreign investors - the one shop for all prospective investors planning to locate in Wallonia.
For many years, Wallonia has been proudly welcoming foreign investors of every type, from industrial companies to service developers. Wallonia's economy is very focused on the global market and, per capita, it is one of the largest exporters worldwide. In Wallonia, more than one company in five has foreign share equity, and more than one job in four has been created by companies with foreign share equity. And finally, almost 65% of Wallonia's exports are carried out by foreign capital companies established in our region. To support the establishment of prospective foreign investors, the Wallonia government set up a specially trained team in the late 1990s with the objective of assisting all foreign investors in the implementation of their investment project in Wallonia. With the support of public and private players, this team (O.F.I.) will assist you at all stages of your project in successfully establishing your business in Wallonia. It achieves this by providing invaluable advice and by guiding you through the following steps in particular: Choice of location, Grant schemes,Tax regime,Recruitment and training of staff , Financing arrangements for your projects, And most importantly, all services provided by the O.F.I are confidential and free of charge.
