On August 22, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Course construction work of Sea Forest Cross-Country Course in FY 2017". The contract was won by Seibu Landscape Co., Ltd. The company is part of the Seibu Holdings group, a large aggloremate of companies with the Seibu Railway company at its core. As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
