Tokyo2020 Tender result: "Standardization of Water Supply and Sewerage Systems"

On November 24th, the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning ""Standardization of Water Supply and Sewerage Systems". The contract was won by Dentsu Live Inc.  Dentsu Live only started its activities this year, but is 100% owned by PR gaint Dentsu Inc. Dentsu has been very succesful in securing Olympics related contracts, as it has already secured the majority of PR contracts. As the details of the contract were not published, it is not entirely clear what expertise Dentsu Live is possession with regard to water supply and sewerage systems. As such the selection of this supplier is somewhat surprising.

As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
