On January 7, the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Operation of Grievance Mechanism for the Sustainable Sourcing Code". The Japanese subsidiary of London-headquartered ERM Ltd, ERM Japan Ltd. was selected as the winning contractor in the procedure. The awardement of the contract is one of the first given to a foreign owned company.
As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
