Technology Transfer Webinar 8: Maximizing IP Marketing efforts by Harnessing the Power of Social Networks

November 08 2016

08-11-16 | 10:00 h - 11:00 h CET

How can I dramatically increase the chances to receive fast replies from global professionals?

Huberman’s involvement with social networking began when he realized there was something missing in Yissum’s BD and Marketing efforts. While he had helped Yissum make great achievements with the development of its TTM (Tech Transfer Software he has developed), he knew that was not sufficient. TTM had enabled the collection and organization of data on Yissum’s numerous activities. TTM also tracks royalties, sublicenses, milestone payments, and other data surrounding the tech transfer enterprise including full synchronization with the website. Still, as far back as 2008, he has realized that TTM could not do all the selling for Yissum. His main concern was “how do we let the world know what we have to offer?” Having a TTM and a Powerful website is a MUST but is certainly not sufficient.

Working with Social Media allows “smart” and effective engagement with millions of professionals that are clustered around areas of interest and this dramatically increases the likelihood of gaining smart traction to the company’s IP portfolio.

The webinar was targeted at professionals who are engaging with other professional for the purpose of Business Development, Collaborations, Licensing, Sales, and Human Resources etc’.
