Globalstars call with Japan 2026

EEN, NEDO and Eureka Secretariat are organizing an online matching event to support the Globalstars call with Japan 2026. 

Eureka is the world’s biggest public network for international cooperation in R&D and innovation. 

This Globalstars call is open for all R&D projects, excluding technologies associated with nuclear power, pharmaceutical development, and regenerative medicine product development. 

Examples of scope include, but are not limited to: quantum technology, artificial intelligence, robotics, semiconductors, electronics, energy and environment, biotechnology, new materials, medical devices, aerospace, mining, and other industrial technologies.

The Globalstars call is open until the 20 Jan 2027 and companies can search for partners through the online matching platform.

Please be aware that Japanese companies interested to participate to the call must comply with below eligibility criteria.

• 日本に登記されている。
• 未上場の中小企業である。
• 日本国内に主要な研究開発拠点を有している。
• 主任研究者が国内に居住している。
• 相手国側企業等と共同研究契約（Consortium Agreement）を締結することができる。
• 相手国側企業等と知的財産権の取り扱いについて適切に交渉、管理する体制を有する。
• 自己負担分の資金調達力がある。
• 補助事業の遂行、事業終了後の事業化を達成する能力を有する。
• 補助事業に係る経理その他の事務を実施する体制を有する。
• 研究成果の事業化に必要な技術経営力を有する。
• 中小企業の基準に適合する。
• 課税所得の年平均額が15億円を超えない。
• 設立10年以内である。
• 売上高研究開発費割合が5%以上である（目安）。
• 技術研究組合でない。
• 安全保障貿易管理の要件に適合する。

この要件チェックは、外国企業とマッチング前の本プラットフォームへの登録に係る基本的な事前要件確認です。マッチング後、NEDOへの応募にあたっては、NEDOの公募要領に定める要件のすべてに該当すことを確認の上、申請ください。
