BIC Innovation, the partner for Enterprise Europe Network in Wales, UK, is working with the Welsh Government and will be accompanying seven Welsh food and drink SMEs to Tokyo as a company mission to participate in Foodex Japan 2015. The show starts on Tuesday 3rd March and finishes on Friday 6th March. Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC) will exhibit at MEDICA 2014 with 7 of its medical-related member companies and JETRO Kobe (Japan External Trade Organization, Kobe Office). The mission from Kobe is organised by Kobe City Industrial Promotion Foudation. KBIC and its members will participate in the brokerage event organised by Enterprise Europe Network during the fair; this will be an opportunity for EU companies interested in the Japanese market to meet with potential Japanese partners. The Hitachi Regional Industrial Technical Support Center of Hitachi City, and Hitachinaka Techno Center of Hitachinaka City, along with 8 small and medium-sized enterprises from Ibaraki Prefecture in Japan, will participate in the world’s largest trade fair for medical technology: COMPAMED 2014.The exhibitors group is mainly composed of members of “Hitachi Risshijuku” (young business leaders’ group), and of various small and medium sized manufacturers operating in sectors like: press working, can welding, spring manufacturing, cutting, punch pressing and injection moulding.
