EUREKA Globalstars call with Japan (Pre-annoucement)

Within the GlobalStars initiative of EUREKA, Japan will be launching a common call with the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Israel and the UK.Starting in early June, companies from Japan and the abovementioned EUREKA member countries are invited to submit joint project proposals in the research and development of innovative products and applications with a strong market potential.The call for proposals will be an open call inviting projects from any sector area except for nuclear technologies and pharmaceutical technologies. Proposing consortia must involve at least one company from Japan and one from the above-mentioned EUREKA countries. For more detailed qualification criteria see the attached pre-announcement text.Call launch: early JuneSubmission deadline: early September.First information on the call in Japanese can be found on the NEDO Website.Companies from the above EUREKA countries are recommend to contact their national funding organisation. The 2-week ‘Get Ready for Japan’ scheme offers EU managers the unique opportunity to experience and understand both the cultural and economic elements which define and explain Japan's business and technological achievements. Continuously improved to meet the latest expectations about business in Japan, the Get Ready for Japan provides EU businessmen with a professional Japan-related expertise.It is focused on business management and consists of a combination of lectures, case studies, role plays and company visits. This is designed to help participants become thoroughly informed about the actual conditions of Japanese business through practical analysis and research. Japanese wine and food importers are invited to a mission in Spain by our Spanish EEN partner Employers’ Federation of La Rioja.The mission will be held on the 26-27 February 2020 in La Rioja, Spain.Registration deadline: 15 December 2019The event will consist of:26th February 2020: B2B meetings. Bilateral business meetings (30’ each one) previously established in individual agendas Logistic ready for wine and products tasting. Importers must attend 16 interwiews, 11 chosen by them and the other 5 by the organizers.27th February 2020: Visits to Rioja companies´premises. Personalised agenda of visits to Rioja producers (according to the selection made by each importer).
