This seminar focus was on technology transfer in Europe and has been organized as a series of talks, masterclass sessions, marketplace presentations and receptions.

The key points of discussion were the following:

  • Technology transfer in the context of EU policy and how it can be used to support academia.

  • Patent information and legal advice regarding IP.

  • Conflicts of interest that may arise in academia and how to solve them/ deal with them to avoid complications.


The event also included a presentation given by Luca Escoffier, the Project Manager of the Technology Transfer Helpdesk team, to present services and activities.
