Eligibility Criteria

If your company meets all of the eligibility criteria listed below, we would be pleased to consider featuring your company and products on the EU2JP Food website.

If your company does not meet all of the criteria, other support services offered by the EU-Japan Centre may be available depending on your needs.

The company must:

1. Be an SME established as a single legal entity. Representative networks and similar organisations are not eligible.
2. Be involved in the production, distribution, or sale of food and beverage products.
3. Produce, distribute, or sell at least one food or beverage product that is certified organic in accordance with applicable EU organic certification requirements.
4. Be a legal entity established in an EU Member State, with the majority of its ownership and control held by entities or individuals established in the EU. Companies majority-owned or controlled by non-EU entities are not eligible.
5. Have information about the company and its products available on a publicly accessible website.

The company should also:

Demonstrate a commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices, for example through:

* sustainable production methods and green growth;
* biodiversity conservation; and
* environmental protection.

How to be listed on EU2JP Food

EU2JP Food provides an online showcase for eligible EU companies offering certified organic food and beverage products.

Companies that meet the eligibility criteria and would like to have their company and products featured on the EU2JP Food website are invited to contact the EU-Japan Centre by email and indicate their interest in being listed.

EU2JP Food currently operates primarily as an online listing and showcase service. Dedicated promotional, matchmaking or market-entry support activities are not currently provided as part of this service.
