Reportage - Italian Innovation Day 2017

May 22 2017
The Italian Innovation Day this year has been co-hosted by the Embassy of Italy and NTT Data (Open Innovation Forum), bringing Italian startups from several fields right in Tokyo on May 22, 2017.

We witnessed pitching sessions, demos and great talks.

Beside the keynote speakers, Emil Abirascid and Masaru Ikeda, two startup gurus, Luca Escoffier, Project Manager of the EU-Japan Technology Transfer Helpdesk, had the opportunity to present the latest features of the technology database from the Helpdesk’s website, and the other services for EU SMEs.

The day after the Italian Innovation Day, May 23, the Italian startups have visited the EU-Japan Centre to get acquainted with the vast variety of services offered by the Centre aimed at helping EU companies access the Japanese market effortlessly.
