The EU-Japan Centre is currently calling for expert report proposals for its "About Japan" information website.
The objective of this website is to provide practical information for EU businesses in need of clear guidelines on trade and investment opportunities in Japan.
In order to provide reliable and up-to-date information on as many different relevant sectors and issues as possible, the EU-Japan Centre relies on reports and articles from external experts.
With this new call, the EU-Japan Centre is preparing for the reports and online webinars to be released in 2026/27.

Call for experts for the Minerva Policy Reports. The Minerva Policy Reports deliver comprehensive research on the dynamic political, economic, and industrial relations between the European Union (EU) and Japan, with the goal of providing policymakers, academics, and industry leaders with in-depth analysis and strategic perspectives on the most prominent policy issues facing the EU and Japan.

The EU-Japan Centre is currently calling for expert report proposals for a new periodic monitoring report of Japanese policy and regulatory developments in the field of industrial and innovation policy. With this new call, the EU-Japan Centre is planning quarterly released reports for a contractual length of 1 year (FY2026) with an option to extend to a second year (FY2027).

The Centre is planning a series of online Market Access Workshops to introduce Japanese industrial sectors and business culture to EU companies during the FY2026/FY2027. Selected experts are expected to be the main speaker of the one-hour presentation. Market Access Workshop is a training detailing information on how to access the Japanese market for EU companies in a particular sector of interest and/or provide insights into the Japanese business culture. The experts will be contracted and contacted on a rolling basis depending on yearly planning and external interest.
