While preparations for the upcoming October mission are now entering their final phase, the Centre is already preparing the next edition of its flagship manufacturing programme. Building on the continued success of previous missions, the programme will once again offer European manufacturing professionals a unique opportunity to learn directly from Japan's world-class production leaders and gain practical insights into the latest manufacturing practices.
Companies that were unable to apply for, or secure a place on, the autumn mission will soon have a new opportunity. The application form for the 57th World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Mission will be available online from Wednesday, 7 October 2026.
Taking place from 1 to 5 March 2027, the mission will provide participants with first-hand exposure to Japanese manufacturing excellence through factory visits, expert briefings and exchanges with industry leaders.
Application deadline: 8 December 2026.
