Nestled at the entrance of the Decroix Farm in Charente stands a majestic Sichuan pepper tree, gracing us with its bountiful harvest of vibrant red berries each autumn, exuding a captivating and spontaneous aroma. 

Fresh and invigorating on the palate, it unfolds with layers of peppery warmth, subtle hints of aniseed, and zesty lemon undertones, leaving a gentle, tingling spiciness that lingers pleasantly.

Vodka with a Bold Twist

It is an unexpected and original flavour that takes you straight to the heart of the steppes. This vodka is smooth and well-rounded, crafted with care. Staying true to the “Erika spirit,” we infuse it in the still with chestnut pollen and a hint of Heather Honey. The result is a surprising innovation that transports you to a honey house surrounded by buzzing bees and fragrant flowers. A vodka with distinctive character, perfect for enhancing cocktails with a bold, unique flavour.

Made with local plants carefully chosen for their delicate aromas, it captures the very essence of the surrounding countryside. Imagine the subtle herbaceous touches of rosemary, tarragon and Provins rose tickling your taste buds, before acacia honey from the Dordogne softens the whole.

Some casks are simply too exceptional to be blended – they deserve to stand alone. We don’t actively search for our next Single Cask. Instead, it finds us. When Jan and Jonas take the time to sample from our warehouse, there’s always that one barrel that stands out — powerful, complex, and full of character. It’s immediately clear: this cask must be bottled on its own. Each Single Cask release comes from one barrel only, resulting in a strictly limited number of bottles – unique and unrepeatable. From growing our own barley to crafting a high-quality New Make, we’ve learned a lot over the years. But when it comes to cask maturation, we know it takes decades of experience. That’s why we’re grateful to have Julia Nourney, a renowned international spirits expert, by our side. During her annual visit to the island, she evaluates up to 60 casks in a single day, guiding our cask management and identifying those rare barrels with the potential to become a Single Cask. Each release is a tribute to craftsmanship, instinct, and the singular character of one extraordinary barrel.
