On September 4, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Preliminary design of the Main Dining Room of the Athlete Village". The contract was won by a Joint Venture comprising of Tokyu Architects & Engineers Inc. (Tokyu Sekkei) and Designoffice. Japan Co., Ltd. T As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
