In JTPP Helpdesk's 2nd Thematic Report we look further into the latest developments on Japan's Digital Economy in relation to Public Procurement. Japan's digital government stands at the threshold of major changes as the launch of the new Digital Agency in September is expected to give new impetus to the digital transformation (DX) of Japan's public services. The 30-page Report looks at the challenges Japan is facing in its digital transformation and the new mission of the Digital Agency. It also looks more specifically at government procurement of IT systems and presents some case studies of recent contracts offered. Also it looks at IT government procurement in a number of sectors such as Ed-Tech and Med-Tech.
