Scientific equipment tenders at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)

Japan’s National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) published a number of WTO tenders for new scientific equipment this week, which might also be interesting for European manufacturers to compete in.

For each of the tenders there are no restrictions, making possible for small equipment manufacturers to compete as well. The competitions are on the basis of lowest price, after an assessment of the eligibility of the participants.

Documentation about these tenders is available at the NIMS website. However, the system only works in a Japanese Windows environment with Internet Explorer.
