On October 31st, the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Renovation Design of the Existing Buildings of the Athlete Village". The contract was won by Taisei Architectural Design Co., Ltd.. As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
