On April 9, the Japanese government organised its annual Government Procurement Seminar. During this Seminar, which has been held over of 30 years as part of Japan's voluntary measures to promote participation by overseas suppliers in government tenders in Japan, Japan's central ministries and their attached agencies announce their procurement plans for the coming year.

New WTO thresholds announced for FY2026-FY2027
