Italian startups showcased innovation at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2026.

Green Net Finland and Tehnopol Science and Business Park (Estonia) arranged a joint trade mission to Tokyo with green/health tech SMEs in April 2026. A total of 9 companies were along: SYKLI Environmental College, Ecomiles and Helsieni from Finland, and Ayren, Lumos Strategies, Fienta Ticketing, Airi Solutions, Kontorva and Spinnistart from Estonia.

HANAMI participated in Supercomputing Asia / HPCAsia 2026, held in Osaka on 26-29 January 2026, strengthening its role in promoting long-term collaboration between Europe and Japan in high-performance computing (HPC).

The EU-Japan Centre is pleased to report the successful conclusion of four more online workshops since our December issue. This year, due to the many Member States’ delegations, both at a national and regional level, planned to benefit from the World Expo 2025 held in Osaka, the demand for the Centre’s Market Access Workshops is high.

The EU-Japan Centre concluded its Digital Business Mission to Japan in October. The mission centered around CEATEC 2024. 9 European startups and SMEs from 8 European countries showcased cutting-edge technologies that captured significant attention in the Japanese market.
