On August 23, the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for two tenders concerning "Field of Play Design for the Olympic BMX Course". The contract was awarded to Nix Co. Ltd. a construction consultancy.
As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
