In January, a one-week learning expedition, organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan for the French mobility cluster Pôle Véhicule du Futur, brought 15 French companies to Japan to delve into hydrogen and battery topics.
Photovoltaic panel technology from Japan to Slovakia
Slovakia wants to become a gateway for the expansion of new photovoltaic panel technology in Europe. Denisa Saková, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic and the Minister of Economy of the SR signed the Memorandum of Understanding in Tokyo, Japan, with Sekisui Chemical, which develops photovoltaic flexible panels.
German-Japanese Energy Transition Council discusses Pathways to Decarbonization

(this project is completed) From September 2020 to October 2021, the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation coordinated the organization of a series of events and activities aiming at strengthening the cooperation between Europe and Japan for climate action, covering topics such as the links between trade, industry and climate, the acceleration of renewable energy deployment and the role of local governments in low-carbon transition.
