Financial Support

The Osaka Prefectural Government has initiated a Subsidy Program to assist foreign financial companies in establishing a new business location in Osaka City by providing partial support for the expenses required for preliminary research and establishment of a new base.

A hybrid event co-organized by the EU-Japan Centre presented financing opportunities for EU-Japan joint projects in Africa and existing success stories. Three business areas were covered - energy, transport and critical raw materials - which are key for EU-Japan cooperation with African partners.

The capital market for SMEs and start-ups consists of several segments,ranging from SME lending and crowdfunding to business angels and venture capital markets.
