VISAS & PERMITS

Rules on residence permit, (exemption from) work permit, approval of the traineeships by the local authority, visas, are different from country to country (sometimes from region to region).

The Centre will centralize the inquiries on the procedures to follow and liaise with the student and the company so that they may take the necessary steps.

The Centre will request the support of the Company, whenever applicable. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

COSTS 

Host company's costs for the complete training period 

The trainee will be remunerated either DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY, depending on your national law:

Direct remuneration:

Your company will remunerate the Vulcanus trainee directly when your national law requires you to do so. (This may depend on the fact that the traineeship is not mandatory for the university attended by the trainee).

Eligibility - Vulcanus in Europe

ELIGIBILITY

All companies in the industrial or service sector and architectural practices within the EU are eligible. 

In particular, we welcome applications from eastern and Baltic countries.

The traineeship should be R&D oriented. (Special consideration will be given to companies prioritizing sustainability).

Through fulfilling the assigned tasks, the trainee should be given the chance to optimize and implement the specific knowledge he/she acquired at university.
