European Innovation Scoreboard 2022
The Commission has published today the 2022 edition of the European Innovation Scoreboard, which reveals that the EU's innovation performance has grown by about 10% since 2015.
The EU and Japan open Horizon Europe association talks
Leaders at the EU-Japan Summit taking place in Tokyo agreed to start exploratory talks on Japan’s possible association to the EU's key research & innovation funding programme Horizon Europe. Association is the closest form of international cooperation on research and innovation with third countries, and it could pave the way for an intensified cooperation in research and innovation between the EU and Japan.
Strategic Meeting at Málaga TechPark
During the month of May 2022, the Ambassador of Japan, along with some embassy members, visited Málaga TechPark in Spain, to strengthen the relations of Japan with Málaga city from the scientific, business, technological, and cultural point of view.
Join Asia’s largest Open Innovation event: Innovation Leaders Summit 2022
The Innovation Leaders Summit (“ILS”), possibly Asia's largest open-innovation event, was held both online and offline in February this year. The next edition meant to take place from 29 November 2022 will continue as a hybrid event. The past on-line edition of ILS was held on 7-10 February, while the face-to-face event took place in Tokyo from 16 to 18 February.
