Connecting Italian excellence with Japanese audiences through comprehensive support at Expo 2025 Osaka.

The Italian Trade Promotion Section in Tokyo coordinates the participation of 19 leading pharmaceutical companies at CPhI Japan 2025, reinforcing Italy’s role as a top supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients and cutting-edge solutions.

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan supported Ferrero Japan in the celebrations of World Nutella Day, featuring an Embassy event, restaurant promotions, and landmark collaborations, introducing Japanese consumers to Italy's beloved chocolate spread.

Italy will host the largest EU pavilion at FOODEX JAPAN 2025, featuring 190 companies, live cooking shows, and special tasting corners that showcase Italian gastronomic excellence. The event will strengthen trade relations between Italy and Japan, providing business opportunities in the food & beverage sector.

Italy celebrated the theme of Italian Design Day 2024 by showcasing its design and lifestyle at the dedicated Interior Lifestyle exhibition in Tokyo.

Two events organized by the Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy saw a massive participation of Italian companies. In February, “Moda Italia” & “Shoes from Italy”, in their 63rd and 73rd editions respectively, presented the latest Italian Fall-Winter fashion collections 2024/2025. In March, at the 49th Foodex Japan, Italy showcased its best food & beverage production.

Held in Tokyo on 6-8 November, the 33rd General Assembly of the Italy-Japan Business Group represented three intense days of exchange, dialogue and collaboration, in the name of cooperation between the two countries.

The Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy has organized a national pavilion at the 20th edition of CPHI JAPAN (19-21 April 2023) with 13 companies. The aim of the participation to the tradeshow was to promote the excellence of Made in Italy, to show the high level of development achieved by Italian production techniques, and to strengthen the presence of the Italian pharmaceutical industry in the Japanese market, increasing the business opportunities for the companies.

The first months of 2023 have seen the promotion of Italian products and know-hows in a wide range of sectors from food and fashion to renewable energy.
