The World Class Manufacturing training programme is now organized once a year, aligning with the EU-Japan Centre's calendar reorganization.
WCM training mission - March 2024 Session
The 53rd Challenge towards World Class Manufacturing (WCM) mission was organized by the EU-Japan Centre on 11-15 March 2024. 24 participants, working in various sectors from 10 European States took part in this course.
The final Lean in Europe visit was to Toyota’s Yaris plant in Valenciennes
The final Lean in Europe visit was to Toyota Motor Manufacturing France (TMMF). Participants from a range of industries (packaging, automotive, hospitality, cork stoppers, cooking systems, piping, steel, retail, food & beverage, animal healthcare, etc.) learned how digitalisation tools support and enhance TMMF’s operations.
Last two Lean visits – to see process innovation in Austria and Toyota in France
To date, 668 people have joined 31 Lean in Europe visits to 33 companies, including a recent visit to Rational. Join us for the final two visits to Kostwein in Austria and to Toyota in France.
