Vulcanus in Europe offers EU companies the chance to host Japanese interns for 7 months, from mid-August 2024.

(Or for 6 months, from mid-September, depending on your national law).

LET'S FIND YOUR PERFECT TRAINEE

Do you wish to increase your chances of finding your perfect trainee(s)? We can post your offer online, and share it with the Japanese universities to which we promote Vulcanus, until the end of September 2023 (deadline for students to apply).

This possibility is open to all companies who are interested in Vulcanus, whatever the status of their application: you can either have submitted your application (highly recommended)  or just intend to apply soon (in this case, please be informed that sharing your offer with universities will not bind you to any actions: you will not be obliged to complete your application if you change your mind).

If you have not yet submitted your application for session 2024-2025, and you wish us to share your offer online, please send an email to vulcanus@eu-japan.eu, with the following title: name of your company + I WISH TO POST OFFER ONLINE_(APPLICATION NOT SUBMITTED).

The email should have the following content: Name of your company, your city and country, your field of activities, your website, content of traineeship (as detailed as possible), background of your ideal trainee (including the requested level of studies). 

If you you have already submitted the online application for session 2024-2025, and you wish us to share your offer online (NOT compulsory but recommended), please send an email to vulcanus@eu-japan.eu, with the following title: name of your company + I WISH TO POST OFFER ONLINE_APPLICATION ALREADY SUBMITTED;

In this case, no content is needed in the email. We will take care of extracting the above mentioned information from your application. (Should you wish us to omit some information for confidential reasons, please specify in the body of the email).

 

HOW TO FILL IN THE APPLICATION FORM

Please complete the form in ENGLISH. (Please write "N/A", if not applicable).

When a question is followed by the word [shared], your answer will be shared with the short-listed Japanese applicants

The application form is divided into several sections. Before starting, please take a look at the full list of questionsfor a global vision of the information to provide.

 

HOW TO SAVE YOUR DRAFT

You can save your draft at any stage, by clicking the green button "Save Draft"

Need to modify some inputs? Please return to the previous pages by clicking the button 'Previous'.

Before final submission, you will be able to visualize your application, by clicking on the button 'Preview your input'.

 

SUBMISSION

Deadline to apply: 23 September 2023. Only complete application forms will be considered. 

Once submitted, a copy of your application will automatically be sent to the supervisor and the HR contact person.

 

SUBMITTING MORE THAN ONE APPLICATION?

Each company can host up to 2 students (3 under specific circumstances). 

If you wish to apply for more than one student, or if you wish to increase your chances to host one student:

please complete the form as many times as you have places available with different contents of placement. 

(Starting with your 2nd application for session 2024/25, you will only fill in the fields strictly relating to the placement you are offering).
