Five startups from Fukuoka City will travel this November to Helsinki to attend Slush, a world’s leading event for cutting-edge technology and innovation — bringing together a curated crowd of European startups, world-class investors, and tech journalists.

The delegation is made of:
•    AUTHENTIC JAPAN Co.Ltd. offering membership-based search support service utilizing GPS-enabled beacons to rapidly locate missing persons.
•    KAICO ltd. a biotech startup specializing in protein production using the silkworm-baculovirus system.
•    Coastal Link Corp. developing “Coastal Link,” a digital transformation (DX) platform for maritime communication.
•    Coatolie Inc. operates and overseas sales business specializing in making clothing using upcycled materials from traditional Japanese kimonos.
•    Hitokoko Co. operates “Japarecruit,” a recruitment service specializing in staffing Japanese restaurants overseas and offers support for the global expansion of Japanese cuisine.

Fukuoka delegation is looking forward to meeting potential partners in Helsinki and in Malmo, Sweden, where they will also travel.
