On 24 July 2023 at Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST)’s Tokyo Headquarters, Kazuhito Hashimoto, President of JST, and Dr. Fiona Watt, President of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The signing ceremony took place during President Watt's visit to JST. Future collaboration with EMBO, which provides training programs for young researchers and facilitates international networking of top talent in the life science fields, is expected to promote the career development and international mobility of JST researchers.
