Technology Transfer Webinar 5: New Models for Licensing University Innovations

What are new models that universities are using to license their innovations?

05-07-16 | 17:00 h - 18:30 h (Brussels local time)

Innovations at universities can be found in every aspect of research and teaching in all disciplines. Therefore, following the usual norm of patenting and licensing is no longer valid. In order to capture the commercial value of these innovations, universities have to think creatively to arrive at solutions and models that enable them to achieve their goals. These approaches range from new approaches to interacting with industry, entrepreneurial incentives and commercialization strategies.

What you will learn during this webinar?

In this webinar, we will cover novel approaches for:

  • Licensing and commercializing early stage university innovations
  • University-industry collaborations
  • Incentives for entrepreneurs
