Tokyo2020 Tender result: Analysis of the Transport Operation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games

On March 12, the Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Analysis of the Transport Operation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games - Local venues". The contract was awarded to one of the main consultancy firms in Japan, Pacific Consultants.   The firm already secured another large Olympics related contracts last year, for design of temporary overlays. The bid opening already took place in August last year, it is unknown why the publication of the result has seen such a delay.

As usual, the organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
