EU-Japan Centre Booth on a trade show

To support EU SMEs internationalization toward Japan, the EU-Japan Centre organizes annual Business Missions to Japan in different sectors.

Applying is completely free of charge, and selected companies will be offered to exhibit in Japan, with all trade show fees covered.* The missions are about 4 days and allow participating companies to exhibit on a trade fair with the EU-Japan Centre booth. Networking events to maximize opportunities for the EU participants are also organised.

OBJECTIVES
The missions facilitate the first contact that could be the door leading to new business opportunities.

  • Gain knowledge about market structure, sector analysis, Japanese business culture and policy etc;
  • Identify relevant key contacts (decision makers, R&D centres, potential business partners etc);
  • Establish relationships with potential partners (trade and technology);
  • Benefit from face-to-face meetings leading to possible business opportunities;

PROGRAMME DESIGN AND CONTENT
Always include participation to a relevant trade fair in Japan, plus extra B2B activities such as Pitching Sessions or networking meetings. Please refer to each mission description for details.

SELECTION
Participants will be selected based on the quality of their application and potential in Japan. Refer to mission's pages for application deadlines.
