Full of success Polish-Japan trade mission
The cities of Krotoszyn (Poland), Okinoshima (Japan), and Misato (Japan) have organised a very successful trade mission to Shimane Prefecture (Japan) in 2023. This mission signifies a continuation of joint activities implemented in 2019, which were interrupted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Feedback from the Centre’s nanotech Mission 2023
From 30 January to 3 February 2023, the EU-Japan Centre organized the 6th edition of its Nanotech mission in Japan. 9 EU entrepreneurs from 5 different countries (France, Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden and Netherlands) had the opportunity to showcase their products and innovative seeds during nano tech 2023 – the 22nd International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference.
EU-Japan Centre’s First Green Mission Completed
Eight SMEs from France, Estonia, Germany, Italy, and Spain attended the EU-Japan Centre’s first Green Mission to Japan held from 14 to 17 March, and the Decarbonization Expo in Tokyo.
Polish and Japanese cities jointly prepare a trade mission to Japan in May 2023
Polish municipality Krotoszyn and Japanese town Okinoshima (Shimane Prefecture) sister city bonds were established in 2016. These cities’ mutual passion for sumo and existing ties are constantly getting stronger, helping to identify new areas of development. The trade mission from Krotoszyn to Okinoshima, and the town of Misato, is scheduled for May 2023. Six companies from Krotoszyn will participate in it.

REC-N-COMP: sustainable composites mission in Japan
The European partnership REC-N-COMP organises a mission in Japan in May 2023, for European SMEs whose activities are related to the manufacturing of composites from recycled materials.
Biotech Cluster and SME Mission to Japan
Representatives from 10 EU Biotech companies from 7 EU member states travelled to Osaka and Yokohama to meet Japanese life sciences and pharma companies.
Sectoral business missions in Japan

To support EU SMEs internationalization toward Japan, the EU-Japan Centre organizes annual business missions to Japan in target sectors.

The missions last 4 days and allow participating companies to exhibit during a thematic trade fair within a joint booth of the EU-Japan Centre.
Networking events to maximize opportunities for the EU participants are also organised.
