EU Battery Regulation will be implemented starting August 2027 to obligate usage of recycled materials such as cobalt and lithium and to introduce Battery Passports to disclose carbon footprints. This webinar features representatives from Japanese and EU authorities as speakers to discuss the latest developments in the battery sector, and we further the discussion with the participation of leaders from the industry of both sides.  

As the full implementation of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) will commence on 1 January 2026, we are honored to welcome Mr. Xavier Vanden Bosch, an official from the European Commission's unit in charge of CBAM (DG TAXUD) as the speaker, who will review the operations during the provisional application period and present the outlook for the full implementation.
