Hiroshima Prefectural Police tenders 1800 sets of body armour

The Hiroshima Prefectural Police Headquarters published a WTO tender for 1800 sets of body armour on November 12th. Other than the contract notice, no details of the specifications of the stab-resistant vests have been made public online.  The deadline for applications to participate in the tender has been set at December 1st.  Bidding documents have to be in on December 24th at the latest. Opening of the bids is scheduled on December 25th at 13:30 JST.  The winning supplier will have to the deliver the sets before March 28, 2016.

The winning bid is decided on the basis of lowest price. Applications forms will have to be submitted in Japanese. Foreign language documents require an attached Japanese translation.
