This webinar will dive into the key provisions of the newly unveiled EU Industrial Action Plan for the European automotive sector, highlighting its impact on industries and businesses, particularly focusing on opportunities for Japanese investment in the European Union. The Action Plan outlines the EU’s strategic initiatives aimed at reinforcing its leadership in clean, digital, and competitive mobility. Participants will gain insights into its five-pillar strategy, which includes digital innovation, clean mobility, competitiveness and resilience, skills development, and fair market conditions for foreign investors. The session will highlight key investment implications for Japanese automotive businesses, in areas such as electric vehicle infrastructure, battery production, and autonomous driving technologies, learning more about the evolving EU regulatory landscape and market dynamics that impact foreign investment. Lastly, the webinar will explore potential collaborative ventures between Japanese and European companies aimed at fostering mutual growth and innovation in the automotive sector.
