The EU-Japan Centre regularly organises managerial training programmes and sectorial missions for EU companies' representatives in need of support in their activities with Japan or for improving their companies' competitiveness. Here below are the details and session dates of the programmes:

Get ready for Japan

The HRTP - Japan industry insight training programme has been redesigned and became a 2-week mission entitled Get Ready for Japan. Lean in Europe

These in-depth one-day visits to world class European plants are designed to help raise industrial competitiveness. During each visit, participants gain a detailed understanding of the host company's 'lean journey' including the tools it uses in its relentless drive to be competitive, and see the tools in operation. These best practice visits are designed to inspire the participants along their companies' lean journeys and can also provide valuable feedback to the host companies.

Restrictions caused by the on-going coronavirus pandemic mean that there will not be any Lean in Europe visits in 2020. Instead, we have monthly Lean Café webinars around lean ideas, aimed at discussing and sharing best practices and ideas.
