FROM APPLICATION TO MATCHMAKING PROCESS

   How to apply

Please complete the online application form and submit it by 20 September 2025 if you are a new company, or by 30 September if you are a former host company

Please feel free to submit as many offers as you have available internships, with different contents.

We recommend to well detail the content of the traineeship.

Each company can host up to 2 interns, or 3 under exceptional circumstances.

    Shortlisting process

We will shortlist the eligible companies in early October. We will evaluate the content of your internship offer, along with the corporate information about your company.

By mid-October we will inform you about the outcome of your application and (if applicable) about the matchmaking week schedule and procedure.

    Matchmaking process

The shortlisted students can express their preference for up to 3 offers of internship that best fit their profile and expectations.

Should one or more students express a preference for your offer, you will receive their file during the matchmaking week. Since students can apply for more than one offer, their files may be sent at the same time to other companies.

We work on a 'first-come, first-served' basis. The first company who accepts the student will host him/her for the internship.

You will have the possibility to interview the student before taking a decision.

   Traineeship contract

By December 2025, the company will sign a traineeship contract with the trainee and the EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation, which lays down the rights and the responsibilities of all parties.
