Laser technology has a wide range of applications in diverse sectors, such as in heavy industry, medicine, military, and the entertainment industries, just to name a few. While domestic production and R&D funds remain smaller compared to other sectors in the optical industry of Japan, the attainment of innovative technology in the field and the achievement of Industry 4.0 make the laser market significant.
