In recent years, due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and its consequences on the health care system, strategic priorities and purchasing behaviours have shifted. According to the 2020-21 survey from L.E.K., there are multiple demographic, financial, and social pressures that challenge Japan’s medical management.
