For 30 years, Vulcanus in Europe has enabled Japanese students to support the R&D activities of more than 200 host companies across Europe. The Vulcanus interns represent a valuable addition to the R&D workforce, offering deep insight into Japanese culture and providing an essential asset for building successful business relationships with Japan.
It is now possible to apply for the 2027 edition of the Programme.
The interns come from leading Japanese universities and are students in engineering, IT, biology, chemistry, and other STEM fields. They will be able to communicate in your company’s local EU language and in English.
The Programme takes place mainly in Europe and is structured in two parts:
Deadline: 21 September (new companies) - 30 September (former host companies)
